Black and White Sunday


 


pees: If ya'll could send my Ma some good thoughts, she has to go to the dentist tommorow and have a crown puts on, and she is all kinds of nervous.
See, she has TMJD, and can only open her mouth a little over an inch, so it's quite painful gettin' crowns done. Thankfully this is the last one she'll need (she has 2 others), so she's biting the bullet (so to speak!), and gettin' it done.
She might not be around too much tomorrows because of it.

    Oh Lee feels for you Mum. Lee had to have a root canal two weeks ago and now has to wait a month for the crown work.

    Dear Ruby's Mom:

    Good luck tomorrow at the dentist! I have been to the place whereof you speak, TMJ and dental work. It just is a stinker! But you will be OK, just keep the Advils and the heating pad handy and don't go visit the dentist again for a long time.

    Good luck to your mom. Better now than never. I needed a crown after a root canal and never did it. My tooth broke in half and now I need a dental implant.

    Ask for the gas. I hear its fantastic :)

    Hope your mom's appointment goes well, Ruby! When I had gum surgery a few months ago, the doc gave me a magic potion so I didn't feel or remember a thing! That's the only way you'll get me anywhere near the dentist's chair for something like that. LOL!

    OOOooo love to your Mom Ruby..... my peeps don't like the dentist either. My mum had quite a lot done over the last 5 years so she had to get over the FEARS and bite the bullet too. Mum says her dentist just puts in lots of needles to make her feel nothing at all. Mum thinks it's all a little undignified and dislikes the whole business. Do you know Ruby the teeth are the only THING in the peep's body that cannot HEAL themselves. Probably applies to us too!

    Tell your mom sooner she goes..... sooner it's done.

    I work in a dental clinic - which makes me even more of a nervous patient! My prayers go out to your mom today - hopefully it will all go very smoothly for her!

    Make sure you take good care of your mom when she gets back home - she'll need lots of Ruby loves to help her feel better!

    I hope the crowns will not hurt you mom too much, Ruby! I will send some good thoughts so maybe that will help. I bet some extra Ruby cuddling will really help her feel better though :)

    Hi Ruby we hope your Mom managed ok at the dentist yesterday!! Mom has lots of dental work too and she has a small mouth (but it works like a giant mouth) so she knows how your mom feels.
