Nestie Update
Hey puppers and kittehs, I have exciting news!!!
We have.......EGGS!!
Okay, technically it's just an egg, butts I told Ma that I thinks she's gonna lay another.....
Remember Hummingburd Number 1? We thinks he's already left!!! It's been like 2 whole days since we've seen any movement, and the little guy was flappin' his wings gettin' ready to leave, butts Ma didn't have her camera out there, so we thinks he's already out in the worlds!
I'll keep my eye out for him!

How precious is that! We don't see hummers in Florida. Guess it gets too hot for them here.
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting!!! We hope you see the little hummer...and recognise him. You must provide a wonderful nursery for them.

We bet that maybe there is another egg there by tomorrow, Ruby.

Good job nurse and midwife Ruby. I know they feel much safer knowing that you are there protecting the area. I can't wait to see the babies. Keep up the good work and remember to rest when you need it.

Your place must be the most desirable place for hummingbirds. Look very closely for the one who has left because they say they stick very close, it probably looks like a big bumble bee.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog this week
Sweet William The Scot
Looking forward to seeing some more pics!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Someone worked very hard on that nest! Looks very homely compared to the bits of grass I just saw on your old post.
