We also want to Thank those current military personnel, and veterans,  for their service to our country....

So, furst I had to gets all spiffy and nice smellin' for him
(I didn't want to smell like a day old deaded mouse!)

Then I put on my finest frock....

I hear there's gonna be some wild thingies happenin'!

Butts furst, Taffy came overs to calm my nerves....

Murphy and Bro Stanley picked me and Taffy up in their
helicopter!!!

Then we rode an ELEPHANT!!
(oh, and the big guy didn't even farts!! that would be the elephant...not Murphy!)

Then we went Go Kart drivin'!  WooooHoooo!!!

I loves the wind beneath my ears!!

OMD!!  A convertible!!  This is so fun!

You knows I love me some diggin'!!

You all knows I don't like gettin' my furs wet, butts Murphy is such a good driver, I didn't get so much as a drop on me!

We all had a fun time smashin' and crashin' !!!

It was WILD!!   I didn't wanna stop! Butts Murphy said he had somethin' special planned....

OMD, it was a most FABulous dinner!!

Then Murphy took me DANCIN'!!!  It was an amazin' night fursure!!
That Murphy sure is light on his feeties!!

It is NOT Mexico’s Independence Day:

That's a common misconception. Mexico celebrates its independence day on September 16, the date in 1810 Father Miguel Hidalgo issued his "Grito de Dolores," or famous call to arms to overthrow the Spanish.

It celebrates a most unlikely victory:

In May of 1862, a powerful French army was in Mexico, fighting its way to Mexico City, where they hoped to force the Mexican government to honor some previous debts. The French army was well-armed, well-disciplined and was efficiently destroying all resistance on its march to the capital. Outside of the town of Puebla, however, a most unlikely thing happened: Mexican soldiers, most of them with no training and poor equipment, defeated the French.The Battle of Puebla is remembered every May fifth.
