everythings is still quiet on the Home Front.
Why?
Cause Ma STILL has no voice!!!
For those who might be counting, that is five days
of BLISS !
Wells, I guess it hasn't been too quiet...
Ma is trying to cough up her lungs.
Yups, it can be quite noisy in that respect.
It hurts my tender ears!!
(RM: This is one bad ass cold. I have had coughing fits that had popped my jaw out of it's socket. Now, that might sound really dramatic, but I do have TMJD, so my jaw can pop out easier than most, but it still hurts like hell! Anyway, that's is why I haven't been around much. Miss PITA (Ruby) has been an Angel, just watching me hack, and trying to go after the kleenex! I will be back visiting everyone soon, I hope. I've been popping in when I can, but I hope this isn't going to last much longer. Crappy cold. I hardly ever get colds. This sucks. Sorry...I'm REALLY tired...lol ☺)

Good thing you are taking care of her Ruby! After all, she does buy your treats! You aren't in any danger of running low on treats are you? We hope your mom gets better fast and she can start singing to you!

OMD tell you mom to be careful coughing so hard, my mom cracked 3 ribs once from all her coughing. Hope she gets her voice back and rid of the coughing fits.

ReplyDeleteOh no! Ruby, I think you should go to the fridge immediately and eat all of the perishables that your Ma can't so they don't go to waste. :) Hope she feels better soon. Maybe you can order some ear plugs for when her voice returns since you are so used to the silence now... ;)

Holy snot rgs indeed! My dad has coughing fits too. But he did go to the vet...the meds helped. Mom had a fraction of what dad have. She has been wiping the house down w Lysol wipes!

ReplyDeleteAbout once a year or so, I seem to end up with a nasty cold and lose my voice. My mom always tells me that's why I should get the flu shot. But it's not the flu, it's a cold! Anyways, I hope your mama gets feeling better soon. I know you're doing an excellent job of nursing her back to health.
