Hey puppers and kittehs...
Right nows I'm gettin' some x-rays done to try and figure out what's wrong with me.
I can't seem to lay down.
I just sit. I sat half the night.
No vomiting, no diarrhea, I am alert and stuffs.
Ma can't figure it out.
Hopefully the Dogtor can figure it out.
He wants to rule out bloat (Ma doesn't think so, butts she wants to make sure)
It could be that I hurt my right front leggie. The Dogtor said he felt something.
Ma is all kinds of worried, so I stocked the margarita truck before I left....☺
Should be back this afternoon.
Hopefully I'll have some news...
here is a pic, so you remember my FABulous mug! ☺
UPDATE:
Hey puppers and kittehs!
I spent ALL DAY at the vetties
GETTIN' PROBED!!!!
(he didn't even buy me a Milkbone...)
They did X-Rays and looked at EVERYTHINGS!
(and I do mean EVERYTHINGS! I thinks I'm married to my vettie now....)
Anyhu,
No bloat! YEA!!!
He did find something wrong with my leggie though.
It's called OSTEOCHONDRITIS .
It's all very complicated and boring, butts I guess it's like I have a crack in my cartridge.
He doesn't thinks I have a piece broken off in the joint, which would require surgicals.
PHEW!
So, I'm FINALLY lying down (Thanks Dog!!)
So, Ma hopes I will have a better night tonight, and won't sit there STARING at her half the night! BOL!
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE POTP!!
Blogville ROCKS!

ReplyDeleteWe just found out about your awful pain over at POTP. We're so sorry you're going through so much (and that the Dogtor had to do so many probies, they're never fun!) but we're glad it ended up being something much less scary than bloat. It's great that you had a more comfy night and could lie down again. We'll watch for more updates and keep all our fingers and paws crossed that this will be over soon and you'll be romping and napping with no problems again. :) Daisy sends many healing Havachon hugs to you all.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been very tiring and hurting, Ruby. Hope you're feeling better soon. Healing Pawkisses are on their way :) <3

I'm glad you have an update! When it's just not comfy to lie down, of course we don't! Sheesh, humans. I started taking meds because my arthritis was acting up and I didn't want to jump up on the furniture like usual. I hope you have a nice simple fix to it too!

ReplyDeleteWhat a scare! So glad you are lying down instead of scaring your mom. Take care and no more injuries.
ReplyDeleteLady just saw this and was racing over with the POTP. We are glad it is not bloat. We hope you have an excellent surgeon and send you POTP for a quick recovery!
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking of you and sending all good vibes... continue to feel better! Tut is finally turning a corner too - we just posted his diagnosis.
ReplyDeleteOh Ruby, we are sooooo glad you are home and finally getting some much needed laying down rest. We hope that you continue to stay on a good path and that the leg will heal itself. Sending hugs to your Mom bcuz we know just how much they worry about us!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
That is such a relief! You had us all worried and I'm sure your Ma was beside herself! Now, rest that leg. No jumping around for a while?
ReplyDeleteWow, we were worried when we read the top part about not laying down. Mom used to have a dog named Pylon who did that and it was a problem in her neck. The nice lady vet used to give her some medicine that made it feel better and also did a special massage. We're glad it isn't something that requires surgery. Just take it easy and eat lots of treats. Better put in a call to Chewy for extras.
ReplyDeleteRuby, I'm so glad you are okay, I was very worried about bout you. Take it easy and remember not to mix your meds with alcohol!
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Wow! How did you do that? Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteRuby, I am sending love and licks and lots of hugs. I hope you can get some rest. I am sure a few Rubyritas will help you sleep. I am sending and express squirrel pizza cause it will help you heal. Please take it easy and let me know when you are all better.
ReplyDeleteZiggy Out!!

Oh sheesh, we kept looking for an update and finally Mom said let's go see if her Mom added something to the original post - and voila!!! We are so glad it wasn't bloat but we are sorry you have something wrong with your cartilage, or cartridge, or whatever. Maybe some rest is what you need. Put those paws up and order another round of margaritas, Ruby. Take care, sweetie.
