You betters have one helluva cookie for this Ma!
Yuppers, it happened AGAIN!
Frickin' Shamrock Torture Device!
I am humoring Ma, since she is half Irish.
Sometimes we pups have to do this for cookies.....
And margaritas.
(who says margaritas aren't Irish??? they're green, rights??? ☺)
So, once again, I share Ma's Irish Family's Blessing......
May those who love us love us.
And those who don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And, if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.
Erin Go Bragh!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
Oy! The things ya gotta do for cookies. You do look awfully cute in the torture device though!

A wonderful Irish blessing my sweet Boo! Did your ma get plastered and stumble all over the house yesterday or did you snoopervise her into just staying quiet and reading her scriptures? BOL! Mom said that was funny for some reason. I have been barking at you all day today. Can you hear me? Mom said it was only in the quiet of the night that you can hear me and that I should shut up. Can you believe she said those words? Anyway, just wanted to bark out a Happy St. Paddy's day to you!

ReplyDeleteThe shamrock torture device is very cute, Ruby! And what an Irish blessing. It's the best one I've ever heard. I hope that you and your mom didn't drink too many green margaritas! Happy St. Patty's Day to both of you.

Well, at least you don't have to worry about being pinched with all that green! I was surprised and a little disappointed that hardly anyone at work wore green this year. I made sure to pinch everyone.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do have the Irish spirit sweet furiend! Happy St. Paddy's day to you as well!

We have that Irish saying hanging on a ceramic tile plaque in our kitchen. I don't think it works for we see no one limping!
