Crikey Rubes ...... I'd sue if I were you. I remember that bloodbath incident. Fair dinkum ..... what's with your Mom? Has she had her glasses checked lately?? That's a hell of a divot, aye?? I sure hope you are ok. Oooooops indeed!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMD!
ReplyDeleteglad you survived the bloody event... but hey maybe they will make another barber- or hair-musical with you and your mom as the main characters?
ReplyDeleteOMD ruby! are you okay? that sure was a close call. did you at least get an extra treat, or two, or three?

ReplyDeleteRUBY!!! We would never have known if you hadn't survived to tell us... this is serious... you have to find a way to distract the wummin next time those shears come out, then make good your escape!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
When we perk our ears and those stoopid bat tufts are still there, my mom gets nutty with the scissors! Don't perk your ears, Ruby. Enough damage has occurred already!
ReplyDeleteOMD!!!!! Wow Ruby that was nearly an earful…what a close call
ReplyDeleteI'm VERY pleased to see BOTH ears still in place…just
Loves and licky kisses

Your Mama must be trying to groom you herself? Poor girl, grooming isn't fun!
ReplyDeleteOMD, what a close escape!! I think your momma needs to be BANNED from grooming!
ReplyDeleteYour momma needs to leave your grooming to the pros. She can get a job at a butcher shop to pay for the groomer and have some extra cash left over for your treats.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that with all the near misses as well as the hits, your Ma keeps getting right back up on that horse and trying again. Persistence. Gotta love it. ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Retaliation is also great - you can knock her down and also say "oops". You're welcome.
DeleteOOOPs is not something you want to hear from someone with sharp objects in their hands. Thank goodness there was not blood drawn.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
Yikes, now we are getting really worried about that big black thing that arrived here. Mom says it is too damp outside today, we might have to wait a while before we see all the fun we are going to have - FUN??? We will believe THAT when it happens.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
Oh dear! That's why I always go to see Miss Jacquie for grooming.
ReplyDeleteOh, no! Are you OK?!? Do you need us to come over and do the super-sad-eyes look at your mom? We're aces at laying guilt trips!!!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
If you need an attorney let us know
ReplyDeleteOMD! That Ooooops was RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR EAR!!! We think you need a margarita to calm down....or was Ma already heavily into the margaritas? That was just TOO close. We are in shock..
ReplyDeleteNext time you see the clippers run!
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Your lady cuts hair kinda like our lady cuts the man's hair. Why the man lets her keep doing it - we don't know!
ReplyDeleteOMD Boo, can't the ASPCA take away her scissors?? That is crazy that she is allowed to reoffend! It is hot here too so we will bark about it tonight - in the heat of the night - arooooooooooo!

XOXOXOXOXO
We can't believe your ma almost chopped your ear off again. We think you should hide the clippers or maybe eat them.
ReplyDeleteRuby,
ReplyDeleteThis calls for some blogville intervention.
We need to see her grooming license and did she
graduate from cosmetology school?
Poor baby I hope you got special treatment and a good steak dinner.

OMD! You were nearly scalped! I hope that your mom has pampered you and given into your every whim since this brutal attack!
ReplyDeleteWHEW!! That was a close one Ruby...We think your Mama should be giving you lots and lots of treaties to make up for this horrible mistake!!

Oh Ruby...sometimes we mums get a bit hasty. Sam and Elsa both have had their fair share of divots and wear them proudly. I always give a treat for making the boo-boo. Maybe that's why they don't fret (too) much. Good news is it grows back. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It wasn't as much about the gift boxes, as it was about the feeling that they don't appreciate my blog or my efforts to get beautiful pictures and do creative reviews for them. I actually buy props, and travel to different locations for the reviews. And when they sent hats, scarves and hot chocolate last winter to some bloggers, I was like, ok, that's nice. But then they sent out Fourth of July boxes, and summer fun boxes...and that combined with unanswered emails and other things, made me suspect there might be a prejudice against pure bred dog breeders happening.
ReplyDeleteSo many people subscribe to the "adopt, don't shop" campaign that they view dog breeders as evil. I've been wondering for a few months now if this is the case. You usually do very cute reviews for them too. So if they forgot about you too, then maybe their selections are just random?
Anyway, thanks for reaching out to me. I appreciated it, it was very kind.
I'm so glad that you're okay, Ruby, and didn't have another bloodbath! That was so close!!!! I hope that you're having a fab weekend!!!!
ReplyDeletehello ruby its dennis the vizsla dog hay i do not like baths to begin with and a bloodbath sownds eeven wurse then a regyoolar wun!!! so i am glad it wuz avoyded!!! ok bye
