Today I am joining Mayor Arty, Jakey, and Miss Sassypants Rosy
in sharing with all of Blogville my
Howliday Traditions
Okays, so we don't have many, we are a simple family
One Tradition is
Ma putting antlers, hats, and various decorations on my head
(not my fav, BTW....just sayin')
Butts, some of my FAVORITE traditions is opening my pressies!!!!
I do LOVES the papers!
Nows, as most of you knows,
Cooking isn't one of Ma's best qualities.
Butts, she does do the Holiday meals pretty good
This is her Apricot Glazed Ham
DELISH!
(okays, I wouldn't knows...she never lets me have any!)
meanie.
Butts, I do gets a taste of some potatoes and fixin's
Anyhu,
That's our Holiday Traditions ~ nothin' fancy or big
Butts,
It's ours, and what matters is that we're togethers.
I hopes everyone has a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa
If you don't celebrate any of these,
I wish you love and happiness and joy.
And no more of THIS for another year!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS BLOGVILLE!

Eating sounds like a great tradition to us. Sorry you had to wear the weird headgear. We didn't do it this year but we know it's around here somewhere just waiting. Happy holidays from all of us.
ReplyDeleteRuby it is terrible that Ma is such a meanie Ebenezer Scrooge not allowing you even one bite of the Apricot Glazed Ham even after you allow her to squeeze your brain with those head thing a ma jigs. You need extra presents!

I love to unwrap presents too! And we're all drooling over that ham! Have a Happy Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple of dachshunds I know that think you're Ruby the Snowfreak.
ReplyDeleteMom LOVES all things apricot!!! She puts apricot marmalade on her morning toast. We have to agree about the headgear tradition - did you ever stop to think how that tradition doesn't seem to end with Christmas???? Those silly headpieces keep popping up all year long.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
