good luck for da nail-thing... I think you will nail it... guess what? maybe we should bring a bag with small untasty diet-treats to da vets...we show a good will and we can bee-hive like monsters while they have to gag down the untasty treats... and we can pet them with saying: gooooood boy/girl... ha!

Hari OM I just did all my nails - front and back paws... those back ones are getting further and further away and before long I may need to find a podiavettie ...sigh... oh, and don't talk to this Scot about wettie... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Hey Ruby at least it isn't snowing like it is around here. At this point we would take rain over snow any day. Good luck with the nails. That is not a favorite thing of ours either.
Good old angel Joey dog, who was always so friendly and calm, had to be muzzled when the groomer cut his toenails and trimmed the fur between his toes. He just hated anyone to mess with his feet! Good luck to you tomorrow!
Ruby, we would like to ask you to send that rain to the west and not the east. Mom says we are due for more rain this weekend and that means more mud, and that means torture for us:( Hope the nail trim goes well.
Ruby MOLMOL when you said "hinnie still wet" for some reason made mom giggle... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH off for a mani pedi you say? Good luck to the vet techs I say. I'm okey dokey since mine are done but here we have our own version of the Burger king commercial: It takes 4 hands to handle a Whopper. Dad holds me and Mom does the deed Hugs girlfriend with the wet hinnie Madi your bfff
You can compare notes with Riley after your nail trim. He screamed at the top of his lungs, tried to climb the walls, and generally made a fool of himself. And it took3 techs plus my husband to hold him dosn. Oh wai wait, that was for a blood draw. They wouldn't even try to cut the nails.
Oh my sweet Boo, did they cut your beautiful talons? Doesn't you ma know that long nails are sexy, oops, I mean, handy for opening cans? It has been wet here too but I don't mind it. I will bark out my love to you tonight! Aroooo!!!!

ReplyDeleteI did a nail trim for Shelby and had a blood bath. First time that it happened in all of the years with Scotties. Good luck
ReplyDeleteWe are going to a new groomer for Pierre to get a haircut and Bentley to get his nails trimmed. I'm more nervous than they are at this point. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhen Kali gets her nails clipped it takes two peeps to hold her and one groomer TRYING to clip them.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll be a nice girl when you get your nails done,Ruby. Maybe mom will paint them pink for You!

Hi Ruby
ReplyDeleteWIshing you could send us some of your rain and we wish you luck at the vets for your nail trim. Milo, Jet & Arli
Keep a box of doughnuts handy to pay off the vet techs afterwards. It's called a distraction technique.
