Mom always says that pruning makes more flowers, and those are sure beauties!
ReplyDeleteSometimes we just aren't appreciated for our efforts. We've been trying to dig out a creature and oddly Dog Dad is not thrilled.
ReplyDeleteHappy Earth Day, Ruby! Those flowers look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a perfect Earth Day celebration. We can't believe your mom didn't appreciate your help.
ReplyDeleteOh Ruby - your mom doesn't see a good favor when you do it! I'm sure it will grow even better now (BOL!). Happy Earth Day!
ReplyDeleteWe think you did a great job. Next you should try loosening the soil so the roots have room to grow. Mom just loves when we help in the garden. In fact, she doesn't even bother planting flowers anymore because we've done such a good job.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't dug up those plants yet?
ReplyDeleteI'm not known for "pruning" the plants. I'm more famous for stomping on them. (Especially if there's been a rotten chipmunk in the garden! Well, it's my job to track down these varmints, even if it means following their trails through ghostwriter's favorite irises!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day, Ruby! You did a pawtastic job on Earth Day!
ReplyDeleteMomo & Pinot xo
Mom just loves the smell of lilac!!! We have a great idea, Ruby. We will do the digging, your Ma can do the planting, and you can follow up with the pruning:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Ruby DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give up your Margarita Truck for gardener's truck.
