Me: Where were you?? There I was ROACHIN' and ROLLIN' in my tunnel,
then you were GONE!
Ma: I was watering the plants on the side of the house ~ I was on the other side of the fence.
It was only for a couple of minutes.
Me: That's like FUREVERS in doggie time!
You owe me 87 treaties.

ReplyDeleteCrikey, Ruby, clearly this was cruel and unusual pain caused by absence. A full 87 hour cuddle and play must be yours!!! hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

You sure look worried Ruby. We hate it when our pawrents disappear like that and then claim they were just outside. If they aren't with us then they might as well be on Mars.
ReplyDeleteYou tell her Ruby!! We think maybe she owes you 8787 treaties!!

Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Ruby....please tell me this is a dream...I cannot imagine in my wildest mind's eye that your Ma would leave you alone w/o prior approval or at least a pitcher of Margaritas and 87 treats
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Good luck collecting from that deadbeat-she'll claim you don't have a contract.
ReplyDeleteKitties Blue has 47 comments thus far so they are doing very well.
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute, Ruby. I linked this post to Awww Mondays. Make sure you tell the mom.
Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your mom. ♥
Rule in my house: anyone who comes through the magic yum yum door (the back door from the garage) must give me a treat to me! No exceptions!
ReplyDeletedid you get your 87 treaties? I hope so!
ReplyDeleteWe hate it when SHE disappears. Luckily, there are three of us and usually one alerts us to HER sneakiness. We hope you got your treats....you deserve them.
ReplyDeleteTimber and Lightning ALWAYS have to know where Mom is AND be there with her:) Hope you got those treats, Ruby.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We can't believe your mom left you all alone. Bet you were really lonely

OMD! You must have been frantic thinking aliens had taken your mom to Area 51. I hope you got lots of treats. Have you considered a leash for her? Our humans often wander off and we have to use their leash to keep them with us.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hot I think Ice Cream is the treat of the day.
ReplyDeleteWith a margarita for a chaser.
A couple of minutes is a forever in dog time
ReplyDeleteOnly 87 treats, Ruby? Seems like it was a transgression that deserves a higher treat count!
ReplyDeleteOnly 87? Being gone like that should cost your ma a whole lot more than just 87 treats!
