We keep trying to get *her* off her chair at the desk...but she won't listen...so we go and bark loudly at who knows what outside...that gets her up for exercise! BOL!
Since our pawrents are retired life is much the same around here except that our mom hasn't been going out to her crochet gatherings with her friends. Now they are all meeting by Zoom.
Maybe you and she could have a bubble catching session. Or you could get her to chase squirrels. We are exhausted, too. Every time we try to nap, SHE gets cheese or something and we may miss out! Have to be there in HER face to get some.
Syncing mum's clock with ours has been challenging to say the least. Our clock alarm goes off at oh-dark-thirty and she says "go back to sleep, you bozos!" Talk about rude! Your fur-iends, Norman & Elsa 🐾
I found out that I can hear Mommy scream, "Xena!" from downstairs in her office when I am upstairs barking at a squirrel or dog/person walking by. I always run down and say, "What is it, Mommy? Can I help you?"
Lulu: "Yes we are! For creatures with such big brains, humans sure do get bored easily." Charlee: "Maybe it's because of the big brains?" Chaplin: "Nah, I think it's because they have such a poor sense of smell. Otherwise they could entertain themselves just sniffing around the window all day, like we do."
true... if humans are bored you have a hard job....

ReplyDeleteYou sure are fun for your family, Ruby!
Totally agree! Gotta keep those moms up and moving!
ReplyDeleteGail is quite the independent sort. If she were a dog she might have been a terrier!

ReplyDeleteRuby, this is why we have three cat families, so they can spell each other!
ReplyDeleteNo, I've never met your ma.
ReplyDeleteWe are totally over trying to entertain Mama...WAY too many "come on guys, just one more photo shoot" moments!

OMD, it's SO hard!! And my nap schedule is SO screwy thanks to her almost never leaving the house. I feel so sleep deprived.
ReplyDeleteRuby I can only imagine how many margaritas it takes to relax at the end of a long grueling day keeping Ma out of trouble

ReplyDeleteYou look like you had quite the workout, Ruby. Time for a big drink and some TJ cookies:)

Keeping the peeps on a schedule is getting harder each day.

We are asking for more belly rubs to keep our peeps occupied. It’s a ruff job but we are willing to sacrifice.
