Our two squawkers, Summer and Winter celebrated with some millet and threw the hulls on the floor for Mom to sweep up. They are messier than us but they don't get yelled at for making a mess. Is that fair?
ReplyDeleteHappy World Parrot Day...even if it is a day late.
ReplyDeleteOooh, you have birdies? Lucky you. Mom is afraid I might eat them. Hope it was a great Parrot Day; thanks for sharing the scoop on it, Ruby.
ReplyDeleteYour fur-iend,
Elsa 🐾
My Florida associate, Miss Charlee shares her home with an Indian Ringneck Parrot named Frankie (who looks just like Kismet,) and a couple of parakeets. Unfortunately their cockatiel Grover passed away earlier this year of old age. My ghostwriter remembers having parakeets as pets while she was growing up: Buddy and Topsie. Hooray for parrots!
ReplyDeleteWell, now! We occasionally bird sit our nephew parrot, and he's a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the videos. (Thought maybe Kismet made up that day to get attention) Interesting. We have so many parrots...see them every day. We love them. Now, we think you deserve some cookies for that interesting and informative report. Happy Parrot Day@
ReplyDeleteHappy World Parrot Day!!! I love your birds!
ReplyDeleteSteph and Klay. Hope we get to see them again soon!
ReplyDeleteAww...we love birdies, Ruby and these are all so cute. Granny had two cockatiels too... and parakeets, love birdies and a Beo...that was long before me. Pawkisses for a Happy Birdie Day to all of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Every day is World Parrot Day!"
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "How do you figure?"
Lulu: "Don't parrots always keep repeating things?"
Chaplin: "I think Lulu may be on to something ..."
